I earned my bachelor's degree from Cornell University and my veterinary degree from Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine. I joined NVC in 2018, am I am grateful to have settled into a practice with both an excellent staff and excellent clientele.
Even after years in veterinary medicine, I still marvel at the natural ability of animals' bodies to grow, adapt and heal. I enjoy supporting this innate ability and then stepping in to help when it is needed. Surgery and emergency medicine are particular interests, whether that means patching up a dog who scuffled with a woodchuck, or treating a cat who ate the living room lily plant.
In addition to treating dogs, cats and the occasional chicken at the clinic, I also treat our local cows, pigs, sheep, and goats through my mobile farm animal practice, A Country Vet. When I am not out doctoring, my husband, Christopher, and I can be found at home on our farm in East Nassau, raising kids, dogs, livestock, and a slightly weedy garden.
