Becoming a veterinarian has been the culmination of a lifelong dream for me! As an animal crazy eight-year-old, I remember taking my dog to the vet and thinking, "This is for me!" The desire never waned through the years; it brought me to Cornell University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Animal Science and went on to graduate from the NYS College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell in 1988.
I’ve had the privilege of working at Nassau Veterinary Clinic since 1988. Married to my husband, Randie since 1991, we raised out two wonderful sons, Eric and Daniel in the Nassau community. We are active in the Grace United Methodist Church, the Hudson Valley-Berkshire Interfaith Network, and support BSA Troop 166.
When I'm not at work, my focus is on family and friends, as well as spending time with my own pets! I enjoy music, playing my fiddle, cycling, dog-walking, hiking, gardening and cross-country skiing.
Professionally, I’ve developed a special interest in small animal behavior and enjoy working with clients and their pets in this important area. I am grateful for all of the opportunities that Nassau Veterinary Clinic has offered to me, and for the excellent clients and wonderful pets I’ve come to know over the years!
