Becoming a veterinarian has been the culmination of a lifelong dream for me! As an animal crazy eight-year-old, I remember taking my dog to the vet and thinking, "This is for me!" The desire never waned through the years; it brought me to Cornell University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Animal Science and went on to graduate from the NYS College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell in 1988. I’ve had the privilege of working at Nassau Veterinary Clinic since 1988. Married to my husband, ...

I grew up in Nassau, and I have been working at Nassau Veterinary Clinic since I was a small child while attending Columbia High School. I not only rose with him on farm calls, I worked in the clinic cleaning kennels, as a client representative and then as a veterinary assistant. I graduated form Cornell Ag and ...

I then went on to Guelph Veterinary College in Ontario, Canada for an internship in large animal surgery. I joined Nassau Veterinary Clinic in 1994, which was a mixed animal practice. ...

I joined NVC in 2018, am I am grateful to have settled into a practice with both an excellent staff and excellent clientele. Even after years in veterinary medicine, I still marvel at the natural ability of animals' bodies to grow, adapt and heal. I enjoy supporting this innate ability and then stepping in to help when it is needed. Surgery and emergency medicine are ...
