I have been working at Nassau Veterinary Clinic since I was a small child. My father, Dr. Herbert Dietrich encouraged me to go on farm calls and help out in the hospital. As I was growing up, I worked in all areas of the hospital. In 1987, I bought into the ownership of Nassau Veterinary Clinic. I was instrumental in promoting high quality health care and a cooperative environment among the staff. I feel education is important to all staff members and have actively trained and developed training protocols to use for this purpose. I was integral in the planning and construction of our current facility. I have developed an interest in ultrasound and have been to numerous seminars to learn ultrasound scanning and interpretation. My husband, Dr William Zimmerman is also a veterinarian who practices as a relief veterinarian in the Hudson Valley.
